Wine Description
The 2021 Chteau Haut Brion displays a vibrant ruby hue, offering a remarkably fresh and aromatic profile. The nose reveals lifted notes of redcurrant, cranberry, graphite, and subtle floral accents, underpinned by delicate hints of cedar and smoke. Composed of approximately 50% Merlot, 38% Cabernet Sauvignon, and 12% Cabernet Franc, the palate is elegant and precise, with bright red fruit, refined tannins, and a linear, mineral-driven structure. Medium-bodied and beautifully balanced, it finishes with a savoury, persistent length. This vintage will benefit from cellaring, with an optimal drinking window from 2028 to 2050.
